We have a QFI meeting on Sunday, March 9, 2014.

We will have the Asha Quiz, the annual event conducted by members of the Bay Area Quiz Club. Those who wish to participate are requested to pay a fee of Rs. 50 per participant at the venue on Sunday. Those who wish to contribute more are welcome. All the funds so collected will be donated to Asha, the non profit dedicated to the support of basic education in India.

The event is for teams of two, those who need a team-mate can turn up for the meeting and can find teams on the spot.

As the quiz is a long quiz with prelims and finals, we plan to start earlier than usual, at 9:30 AM so that we can finish well in time before lunch. Please bring pen and paper as there will be written rounds in the quiz.

As you might be aware, QFI subscriptions for the new year are now due. Those of you who are interested in taking up a new QFI membership / renewing one, can do so at the meeting in person. Our annual membership fee is Rs. 500. Members get access to an exclusive mailing list on which quizzes from our meetings are circulated. Memberships are open to everyone, irrespective of location. If you cannot pay your membership fee in person, it can also be paid online, by bank deposit, or by post, so don’t miss out on our quizzes! Please email us for details.
