raft of the medusa
When i was in Coimbatore…. i read a book called A History of the world in 10 1/2 chapters by Julian Barnes.One of the chapters is entitled Shipwreck and analyses Gerricault’s famous painting the Raft of the Medusa.That’s how i know that the New Yorker cover is based on the Raft….
