QFI Chennai will hold a double-barrelled quiz session this coming Sunday, 7th July. As always, there will be a QF1 and a team quiz. The QF1 will be by Sai Prashanth and the team quiz by Sharath Jose.
Details of the forthcoming Sunday quiz session:

The venue is P. S. Senior Secondary School in Mylapore, and the session will begin at 10 a.m. No fees or subscription or registration is necessary to take part. Just turn up on the day, for one or both of the quizzes, whether you want to participate or just watch.

The QF1 Grandmaster (also known as the quiz JK wins every alternate year) will be held on July 21. Srinath Bhashyam, last year’s winner will be the quizmaster.
Following that on August 3-4 is our annual quiz fest QFIesta scheduled to be held at the CP Arts Centre, Alwarpet. Do check out the detailed communications that will be sent later this month.
For those unfamiliar with QFI Sunday formats, an explainer: The QF1 quiz is a solo written quiz, comprising around 30 questions. The team quiz is for teams of 3-5 people. All teams are formed by random allotment on the day, so there’s no need to form a team in advance. The QF1 quiz starts at 10 am. The team quiz starts at around 11:15-11:30 am.
QFI does issue annual subscriptions as well, but this is a purely optional way to support QFI and receive every one of its Sunday quizzes (and quiz fest quizzes) by email. If you wish to subscribe or renew your subscription, you can do so at one of the Sunday meetings or online at http://subscribe.quizfoundation.com. For 2019, our annual membership is a nominal Rs 1,000.
