The image below was on the cover of a fanzine and was very influential. What is it about?
Punk Rock is the right answer. Punk was supposed to be a minimal music style, in reaction to the overproduced music from the likes of Led Zep. Punk featured only a few chords. This cover from the fanzine “Sideburns” was making the point that all you need to make Punk music is three chords.
Judging by the paucity of chords, I’d say something to do with Punk Rock.
Sideburns published this is 76.
