Daily Question – 5

In which city would you find this? And what is it a tribute to?

The city is Boston, and the tribute is to The Green Monster, the left field wall at Fenway Park, home to the Boston Red Sox baseball team.

Full points only to Ashwin Kellar, Vinay Nair, Matt, CR, sai, Ludwig, Atul, zizzyphus and Rohan. Many others got it partly right.

  1. The Google-able part was too tempting which told me this store is in Boston. For the rest, I am making use of the fact that the questioner was once a Beatles fan, now, unfortunately, a hip-hop nut – is it a tribute to Beatles’ Apple corp?

  2. And now a Liverpool question!!! We will again protest…

Is this Apple´s way of winning over the remaining Beatles? I was under the impression there was some sort of battle raging between them.

  12. The largest Apple Store that opened in Boston. I am not sure what you mean by tribute. The Opening Soon banner is like the one at Fenway park? Or is the store design a tribute to something?

  13. City: Boston
Tribute: I think this has something to do with this Apple store being the largest store of Apple in the United States.

  14. Well, I did not name Boston because I thought Fenway should have been sufficient. Fenway is a city on its own, you know, like Spencer Plaza.

  15. >> you were just joking

That was why I put the Spencer Plaza bit there 🙂
