  1. Swans and Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. Paramahamsa means “supreme swan”. The logo of the Ramakrishna Math also has a swan on it.

  2. The image is of Sri.Ramkrishna Paramahamsa.

Connection 1: The swan is also the logo of Sri Ramakrishna mission

Connection 2: The second part of his second name (hamsa) means a white swan.

  3. a. Swans
    b. Ramakrishna Paramahansa

    Connects:
The Swans play a prominent part in the Ramakrishna Mission logo.
The logo were designed by Swami Vivekananda (who was Ramakrishna’s disciple)
The same logo is used as the logo of the College Formerly Known as Vivekananda College

  4. Hamsa(Swan) and SriRamakrishna Paramahamsa

Paramahamsa is a title conferred to Yogi’s of higher order. Hamsa is believed to have the ability to get just milk from a mixture of milk and water. A Paramahamsa is supposed to id truth from untuth .
not sure if this is what you expected 🙂

  5. hamsa means swan. Paramahamsa has to be a great swan which is also the title to Ramakrishna in the other pic

  6. The image on the left is that of two “Hamsas” which in Samskrit refers to “Swans”. The image on the right is that of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, where the word “Paramahamsa” in Samskrit means “Great Swan”. Guess the connect therefore is “Hamsa”.

  7. Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and the other pic is swan..
connection (1)Ramakrishna mission started by his disciple Swami Vivekananda has swan as the logo..

    2)hamsa means swan..

  8. Just wanted to clear up a common misconception.
Hansa/Hamsa is not a “Swam”. It’s the Sanskrit name for the Anser Indicus, which is the “bar-headed goose”.
