  1. Click a photograph, of course. Incidentally, when they were doing so a bunch of cyclists taking part in some local race called Tour de France whizzed past them.

  2. Trying to capture the movement of the sunflowers as they follow the sun’s movement from east to west during the course of the day

  3. Photographers capturing the moments of Tour de France when the rider cross 9th stage.

  4. Taking pictures of Tour de France cyclists. This was during the the ninth stage of the Tour between Toulouse and Bagneres-de-Bigorre, southern France.

  5. Guess they are trying to cover the Tour De France cyclists – think the people with helmets on are photgraphers on the bikes…

  6. “Photographers wait for the pack to pass alongside a field of sunflowers during the ninth stage of the Tour de France cycling race between Toulouse and Bagneres-de-Bigorre, southern France, Sunday July 13, 2008. (AP Photo/Christophe Ena)” 🙂

  7. Dear Uncle:

Nice! 🙂 Tough, and random, but nice!

These photographers are covering the Tour de France. Between Toulouse and Bagneres-de-Bigorre, the Tour passes through a sunflower field. So these photographers are waiting for the cyclists.

    Kind regards,
    Thomas Masun

  8. Convince the sunflowers to turn west facing with the camera flash maybe? Wild guess of course.

  9. They are covering Tour de France 2008.

As they follow the cyclists on motorbikes, ergo; the helmets.
